Greetings and Salutations, Stream Punks!
It’s been a while since we updated this blog, but that isn’t because we don’t love you. On the contrary, we haven’t been updating this blog because we’re busy creating more cool things to show you!
First Anniversary + New Projects!
Stream Engine Studios is a year old! (huzzah!) The past year has been a roller coaster of ups and downs but we’ve managed to come out on top every time and from where we are right now there’s nowhere to go but up!
But more on our anniversary later. We are however working on something pretty huge right now. We can’t really talk about what it is, but its safe to say that this project has been long overdue. We’ve had this one in the back of our heads ever since we can remember, and we’re happy to say that it’s finally close to fruition. To tide you over until the release of this new project of ours, here’s a little teaser!
Something kick-ass this way comes!
We’re happy to reveal that we have partnered with Kickstart and LaunchGarage in giving 10 startups these pretty little things!!
Presenting the limited edition, Stream Certificates!
These Stream Certificates entitle the bearer to animated video which is pretty awesome in and of itself, but the fact that they entitle you to a video makes it twice as awesome!
Next Stop: Valentines!
Together, The Noble Stream and Alexis have created a short video with a very simple yet heart warming message that is sure to tug your heart strings, make you smile and give you this warm and cozy feeling inside.
This was yet another of our quick projects, with everything from conceptualization to the actual finished product finished in roughly a weeks time :)
We here at Stream Engine Studios like to spread some holiday cheer, and we couldn’t think of a better way to do that than with this original animated short video for you all. Merry Christmas, everybody! No actual penguins were harmed in the making of this video.

Hey there, guys! It’s been a couple of weeks since we wrote anything in this blog, remember that blog entry a few weeks back in which we were asking you to vote for us in Animahenasyon 2012? well we’re back now and happy to announce that our video, “How To Make A Stream Engine Studios Video” was named the Overall Champion in the Professional category (Category F) of this years Animahenasyon! (huzzah!)
The finals for this year’s competition was held last November 29, 2012 at the SDA Theater of the DLSU College of Saint Benilde-School of Design and Arts campus! Sadly, we weren’t there to accept the reward though since the rush hour traffic got the best of us and Stream Engine Studios’ head honcho, Gino Caparas, was unable to give his speech which he so lovingly prepared. We did arrive there in time to see the rest of the entries for the other categories and its safe to say that they were nothing short of brilliant and truly inspirational.
Thank you all for voting for our video and supporting us, we truly appreciate it. This plaque and trophy do little to encapsulate the blood, sweat and tears that we’ve poured into each video these past few months, but it’ll do. We have a couple of pretty gargantuan things coming up in what’s left of 2012, and exponentially bigger things in the first quarter alone of 2013! So keep your eyes peeled for our next video! At the rate we’re going you’re bound to see one of our creations every time you look towards a screen!

Hey guys! I got some good news over the weekend:
1. We’ve finally moved offices! Stream Engine Studios, along with sister company Storm Rewards, has moved to a brand new location in J.M. Escriva Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. The place is absolutely awesome. It’s quiet, there are lots of restaurants in the area, plus: free parking!
2. Stream Engine Studios was selected as one of the FINALISTS (Category F) for Animahenasyon 2012, a Philippine Animation Festival to be held on Nov. 26-29 at the DLS-CSB SDA Campus, Manila, and I am absolutely excited! If you haven’t seen our video yet, check it out now: http://youtu.be/kUD-Dv10iz4. Official announcement here: http://animahenasyon.com/2012.
Things are getting better for Stream Engine Studios! Please continue to support us as we grow. (Oh, and if you haven’t heard yet, we’re hiring! Check out our recruitment video at http://youtu.be/VSFxZTnReOE.)
